Hi! I’m Carol. My husband, Raul, and I have been married for 25 years now and, I’m not ashamed to admit that, we have a very harmonious marriage as a two career household.

We both grew up and met in Arizona and, we worked for the same company for many years. But I have a confession to make, my husband is a few years younger than I am so when we started our life together, I was the bread winner in the family. I really loved my job and career, and the fact that I was an independent single woman, making my own way in life.  I owned a home, had savings in the bank, spent what I wanted to, and life was pretty darn good.

As time went by, Raul’s career started gaining traction and opportunities started becoming available for him too. I knew there would be a time when we would have to have the difficult discussion about whose career would take precedence, specifically if a relocation was involved. I wasn’t ready to give up my career, but I didn’t want to hold him back either.

Well, life made that decision for me! A short time later, after I gave birth to my son, I suffered a massive stroke which ultimately changed everything in an instant. It was during my recovery that I realized I might not be able to return to my executive level position. What would I do?

I did return to work for a couple of years but came to the realization that I was not performing at the same level, as prior to the stroke, and felt I needed to leave the job.

Shortly after I left, I earned my real estate license, joined a brokerage, and enjoyed representing clients in their home sales and purchases for several years. I was able to build my business on referrals from my previous employment, and I could work at my own pace and set my own schedule. I was thrilled to have discovered a new career so quickly.

It was about two years later when Raul was offered a very nice promotion, which included a relocation to southern California.

Once we moved, I returned to school to earn my real estate license in CA and started over again in a new brokerage.  I didn’t care for the business for a variety of reasons, as much as I had in AZ, so eventually left the industry and started with an MLM business. I loved the comradery, team atmosphere, and entrepreneurial aspects of the business but, hating chasing family and friends for sales and distributors. And I didn’t like having to participate in the home parties. Needless to say, that was a short-lived career!

At about the same time all that transition was happening, my husband was offered a wonderful opportunity with a new company, again, with a relocation, to Michigan. We were excited to leave California, due to the high cost of living, and Raul’s 2-hour commute in heavy traffic every day, and at the time thought living in an area with four seasons and snow would be fun. And it was fun for a while.

I decided not to pursue real estate there because I didn’t want to go back to school to earn another license and start over again. And I was unsure how long we would be there.  So, I took a part-time commission job in retail for a bit.

It was about this time I decided to start looking at online opportunities to see what I could pursue that wouldn’t be affected if, and when, we relocated again. I found an educational platform that could show me how to build my own website. I joined and quit within the same month. There was no  coaching or support for someone with just a few tech skills, like me.

So after a few more moves and starting over again and again, I got serious about looking for online opportunities.

I came across yet another education platform that promised to teach you online marketing skills and so much more.  I was pretty skeptical at first, but after doing more research found them to be very credible. They are partnered with Linkedin and are very highly thought of in the online education arena. They offer a variety of coaching programs, have a wonderful member community, and have experienced entrepreneurs leading the company. It all sounded very intriguing.  I Well, this time I jumped in and stayed. And they delivered!

A year ago, I would have never imagined all I could learn from this incredible company. The community of like-minded entrepreneurs are like a second family to me. The training available is unmatched and, the leaders are some of the best in this arena.

This program taught me skills I didn’t know I would ever need or want, and I have now built two online businesses around my passions that are set up to earn income 24/7 globally. I can’t adequately describe the feeling of waking up to see the sales made while I was asleep! Beyond exhilarating!

And even more exciting are the ideas that run through my head every day for so many additional income streams to implement. All around things that I am passionate about. It truly doesn’t feel like work to me.

But I won’t lie to you.  It was hard sometimes, and took time and effort on my part, to learn the skills and build these businesses but, now they run on autopilot, with a few tweaks here and there, and it is so worth it all.    You know what they say, “If it was easy, everyone would be doing it!”

The best part is I can build and work on these business wherever we are. I no longer need to be concerned about relocating, having to go back to school, or starting over if we do move, which I hope we never do, as I am now living my dream life.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved being a mom to my two kiddos, but felt a strong need to feel productive with work too. I knew I would never be happy if I didn’t pursue this opportunity. And I’m so glad I did.

When we landed in Texas in 2012, we bought a 12 acre parcel of land and recently built the home we plan to retire in. I was able to get a couple of horses and now trail ride and train on my horses most days. Something I always dreamt about growing up!
